Dairy House Farm Livery Facilities

Welcome to Dairy House Farm, Altrincham

Dairy House Farm is family run and farmer Richard Morton and his family live on the farm and manage the yard on a day to day basis.

Over many years the farm has gradually developed from being a mixed arable and livestock farm with a few shire horses into what it is today, a farm dedicated to horses and horse riders.

At Dairy House Farm you will find a wide range of stables, flexible livery options including DIY, expansive grazing and comprehensive horse riding facilities.

Here at Dairy House Farm we have over 100 acres of well maintained grazing together with fields for growing our own hay and barley for straw.

Call 0161 928 2415 if you would like to visit and see our stables and other facilities.

Safe Hacking from Dairy House Farm

The horse riding route of the Trans Pennine trail crosses the farm giving access to safe hacking directly from the farmyard. From the nearby Carrington Moss, where there is extensive hacking, you can hack out via a traffic light controlled Horse Crossing to the river Mersey and on to Sale and Chorlton Water Parks and beyond.

There is trailer and horsebox parking available for those who travel further afield.

Located on the edge of Broadheath Altrincham, with fields stretching towards Dunham Massey, Dairy House Farm is only minutes by car from the A56, M56 and the Carrington bypass and yet it is in a quiet country setting with extensive hacking out available on bridleways, fields and quiet lanes.

The farm is very conveniently located for riders from Altrincham, Sale, Stretford, Urmston, Lymm and all of South Manchester. This is particularly helpful, together with our facilities, for owners who may wish to attract a full or part loan rider for their horse.
